You may not like them, yet you care about them and they keep you turning the 400+ pages. Korelitz offers a fascinating look at all of these characters. Then, 18 years later, a fourth sibling is born-the longfrozen, final embryo from the procedure that produced the triplets. Artobsessed father Salo has never gotten over the horror of a fatal car accident mother Johanna chooses to believe that theirs is one big, happy family son Harrison is a pompous conservative son Lewyn is devastated by a failed romance and daughter Sally grapples with identity issues. ![]() The Oppenheimer triplets, conceived in vitro, grow up detesting one another, longing to leave the family nest. So enjoy some summer leisure with a good book!ĪMY: “The Latecomer” by Jean Hanff Korelitz is tops on my list of recommendations right now. This month’s novels feature time travel, sibling entanglements, alternate history, romance, humor, and much more-there’s something for every reader.
